Our Mission

Building Compassionate Connections Together

Our goal is to build community, foster collaboration, and inspire others to weave compassion, kindness, gentleness, interconnection, and Indigenous healing wisdom into education, healthcare, and organizational missions across our shared territory.

We believe that those of us alive today are being called to rekindle our love for the forests, oceans, and our “perfectly imperfect” human nature. Supported by both leading-edge science and luminous ancient teachings, we rejoice in knowing that all life is deeply and beautifully interconnected within a magnificent web of creation and care.

How Veterans Can Talk to Kids About Cancer

U.S. veterans face a higher risk of cancers like mesothelioma and lung cancer. A diagnosis can be overwhelming, especially for family members, with children often feeling confused or scared. Veterans can approach these conversations with honesty and care, using age-appropriate language. Sharing feelings, encouraging questions, and offering reassurance helps children understand the situation while reducing anxiety and fostering emotional support.
